On a side note, a theological debate:

If pasta is the Body of FSM (and it most assuredly is, just reference any significant statement by His Chosen Chef), then consuming pasta is an act of anointing--particularly when accompanied by a fine marinara or arrabiata.

But what of this recently-declining low-carb craze? The acolytes of this anti-FSM crusade banned pasta from the Table, mocking its nutritious Goodness. Evil incarnate and a sign of the Aperitif? Again, FSM has salvaged us from destruction and brandy by striking down these nonbelievers. Note also the rise of Piratism--a sure and infalliable Sign of His influence.
